Here is a brief outline of what to expect from your pool table recovering service. Firstly, the recovering service will begin with us visiting your home or work place and inspecting your pool table. Following our inspection, we will remove all staples from your pool cushions and check your cushion rubbers for signs of damage. If the cushions are very old and damaged, we recommend buying a replacement set. We usually carry a spare set of replacement cushions on board. Once we are satisfied the cushions are in good order, we will fit your chosen cloth to the cushions.

Secondly, we refurbish the pool table bed. We start by lifting the slate bed onto wooden blocks. We then remove all the old cloth from the slate bed and scrape off any excess glue and remaining debris. Before we fit your brand-new cloth, we inspect the slate bed to ensure all the old cloth and glue has been removed. Having completed our inspection, we will fit the bed cloth.

Finally, once we have fitted the bed cloth, we will mark out the lines and spots (giving you a choice of white or black). We will also check the inside of your pool table for blockages and polish the ball runners. We will finish by ensuring your pool table is fully functional before it’s reassembled. Before we leave, we will also ensure your pool table is level.
