Pool Table Recovering in the South West
Your pool table will be recovered at your home or workplace. We will start with an initial inspection of your table. First, we will remove all the staples from the pool cushions and check them for damage. If the cushions are very old or damaged, we will advise you to buy a replacement set. We usually carry a spare set of cushions on board, so the table can be refurbished quickly. Once we are satisfied that the cushions are in order, we will fit the cloth of your choice onto the cushions.
Our fitters will then refurbish the pool table bed. They start by removing the slate from the table, lifting it onto wooden blocks. They then remove all the old cloth and scrape off any excess glue and debris. The slate bed is then inspected to ensure all the old cloth and glue has been taken off. Following a final inspection, a replacement bed cloth is fitted to the slate.
After the bed cloth has been fitted, we mark out the lines and spots on the cloth. Giving you a choice of white or black markings. Then we check the inside of your pool table for blockages and polish the ball runners. We also ensure your pool table operates fully before reassembling. Finally, before we leave, we will check the table to ensure it is level.
