Pool Table Recovers manufactures and supplies high-quality replacement pool table cushions and pool table spare parts. You may have noticed that over time, the ball does not bounce off the cushions as it should. This is due to the cushion rubber hardening, so it no longer responds.
You can test this by rolling a ball against the cushions. The ball should bounce back and forth around the table three or four times. You can also test the cushions by feeling them. If the cushion feels rigid and stiff and the ball fails to bounce as it once did, it’s time to consider investing in a new set of cushions.
You might have considered replacing just the rubber. This may not be the most cost-effective option in the long term, however. Particularly if the cushions are old and have sustained damage after being recovered many times previously. If you wish to improve the play quality, we recommend replacing your old, worn cushions with new ones.
